- There are 40 products across the gear categories. The commission is identical in structure across all of them, so there is no product here that pays more for being recommended.
- A disclosure appears above and below the products on every page that carries them, and once on the home page.
- External links to public agencies and standards organizations are references, not affiliate links, and earn nothing.

What it does not change
- The order of the stages. The cheapest stage is first and it contains no purchases at all, which is the opposite of what an affiliate site is supposed to do.
- The block on every stage telling you what not to buy yet. It stays there and it is specific.
- The device pages that exist to show a load is not worth powering, and the two that say no stage in the sequence covers them at all.
- The ranking inside a category, which follows the job the category exists to do rather than any commercial arrangement.

What is never sold here
There are no solar panels in this catalog and no fuel-burning generators. Where a listing uses the phrase solar generator, the unit is a lithium battery with a solar input port and the panel is sold separately, which the listings themselves state. There is no medical or life-sustaining equipment here either, and there will not be.
