What is worth writing about
- A specification on this site that disagrees with the current listing. Listings change, and this site records what they said when the page was written.
- A link that leads somewhere other than what its text says, or an external source that has moved.
- An error in the arithmetic. The formula is printed on the pages that use it precisely so it can be checked.
- A safety statement here that is wrong, incomplete, or out of step with a published source. Those get priority over everything else.

What email cannot answer
Questions this site will not answer, by email or otherwise
- Whether a specific unit will run a specific appliance. That depends on surge behavior neither the appliance nor most listings publish, and a confident answer here would be a guess with authority attached.
- Anything about connecting a portable source to house wiring, a wall outlet, a breaker panel, or a circuit. That is a licensed electrician's work with a transfer switch, and it is not something to discuss by email.
- Anything about powering medical or life-sustaining equipment. Ask the equipment supplier and your electric utility, and ask before an outage rather than during one.
- Anything about repairing, opening, rebuilding, or reviving a battery pack.
- Which product to buy for your household. The stages exist so that question answers itself; there is no personal recommendation service here.
